My favorite kind of outfit is a dress that you just put on and you feel like a million dollars in it. Am i right? And what’s even better is when you pay next to nothing for that said dress. I purchased this blue striped Adam Lippes dress a few years ago when Loehman’s still had brick and mortar retail stores. My husband and I used to go there a ton just to “check out” what they had since we were bored. Everytime we went there we would walk out with bags of clothing that we paid so little for and I always wondered “HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?”. Economically, I didn’t see it working for them which is why I guess they closed a lot of the store down.
I was looking for a dress for a friends wedding next month. I had my heart set on getting a lace dress from the designer Self-Portrait. His dresses are so super feminine and delicate and they are truly a work of art. Plus they are very expensive as well. Fortunately I’m an avid user of ShopStyle (if you haven’t used it yet go now! It will save you so much money!).
If you travel to Iceland in the winter it’s going to be cold. There’s no way around that. It can vary between decent temperatures where you can get by with just a jacket to you needing the full gear on. We were lucky to arrive early in November when the temperature was still warm enough on some days. If you are curious about what to wear in Iceland in winter read on.
